Blænk, last year’s winner of the German Fashion Award SYFB 2012, started the year with a swoon worthy collection. In the queue, we could already hear the nature sounds of singing birds that would set the mood for the romance and courtship. The collection contained light and fluid fabrics accented with pleats and hand-made finishings such as lace details, furry balls, and woven and draped wool in combination with crafty fabric manipulations. Placing an emphasis on draping, volume and craftsmanship, the collection emitted a romantic elegance with a modern couture twist.
