In this week’s editorial, the mix of dreamy horizons and plastic poses takes us to a melancholic, yet kinky place in fashion. Creative director Emmalynn’s latest experiment, Orthogonal Projection, combines leather headwear and latex leotards with chrome elements, including labels such as DSTM, Story of Lola and Lashes of London. The antagonism between the energetic postures and the detached, almost numb expression of the model, leaves us pondering the boundaries between authenticity and artificiality.
