‘I fell in love with styling as an art form itself, putting already existing garments in a completely different context’. Young and promising stylist Paul Maximilian Schlosser moved to Berlin to study fashion design, but noticed very fast that directing stories would be more his cup of tea, and successfully so. Dressing models for publications such as Dazed, Tush, 032c and fervent contributor of Œ, he is gaining experience fast pace. With designers Dawid Tomaszewski and Kilan Kerner as his clients, Paul also has a hand in shaping the Berlin runway.
An impressive sleek flair is apparent to his styling, often using slouchy, oversized shapes. Paul succeeds in combining it all in an utterly cool way–Nonchalant without ever coming close to trashy. An overall urban and fresh look is what he seems to do best, mastering the art of styling through the use of stand out runway pieces. Paul has a smart eye for color, mixing bright hues with popping primary colors often used for the shoot’s scenery. He portrays an aesthetic, which is on trend and sought-after in the fashion industry and we trust that the burgeoning talent has much more up his sleeves.
