For this Œditorial, we unveil an exclusive preview of the seventeen designers who will feature in this year’s DACH Showroom at Paris Fashion Week SS23
Plunging into Paris Fashion Week SS23, we are delighted to return to the DACH Showroom to explore some of the most compelling emerging designers from the German-speaking world. From 30 September to 3 October, the showroom will take place at 18 rue Perrée in the third arrondissement, bringing together an inspiring roster of creative talent.
This year’s edition features the work of seventeen designers represented by Berlin Showroom and the Austrian Fashion Association. The collaborative fashion initiative was first conceived in 2017, when Berlin Showroom, the Austrian Fashion Association, and Mode Suisse joined forces to establish an international platform for rising designers from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
In this Œditorial, Synthetic Gardens with Artificial Intelligence, Berlin club kid Steph models a selection of garments available for purchase at the showroom. Transcending time and space, these AI-generated, psychedelic gardenscapes — created by the art collective CROSSLUCID — invite us to reflect on the future of fashion itself. What will it look like, and perhaps more importantly, how do we want it to look?
You can expect to see the following designers and brands at DACH Showroom SS23:
Represented by Berlin Showroom: Acceptance Letter Studio, Anne Bernecker, Clara Colette Miramon, Haderlump, Atelier Berlin, Halo Labels, Leinz Contemporary Eyewear Berlin, Susumu Ai, Tata Christiane, and Vladimir Karaleev.
Represented Represented by the Austrian Fashion Association: Astrid Deigner, Güç, Julia Skergeth, Modus Vivendi, Not Yet FYI, Published By, Rendl, and Timna Weber.
