Gabriel Urist for Voo Store

By

Voo Store, the streetwear and high fashion concept store can now add one more cutting edge designer to its list: Gabriel Urist.  Urist is a New York-based innovative jeweler whose ability to be on the pulse of contemporary culture has made him the go-to artist for legendary pop culture brands such as MTV.  His ‘SHOELERY’ line, which consisted of metal adornments for shoes, has been worn by trailblazers such as Jay-Z, LeBron James and Kanye West.

This time around Urist brings his authentic and distinctive style to Berlin via his first collaboration with Voo Store.  The new collection was unveiled at his solo show on January 14th 2014 and features jewelry in the shape of uni-sex necklaces and rings made from precious metals.  In Urist’s classic trademark style, the ‘Berlin’ pendant chains and metallic cut out shapes are likely to be a hit for street and sports accessory enthusiasts.  We’re already looking forward to the next collaboration by the pair!
