Last December, we were invited to the debut edition of Re:Set Festival, set against the stunning backdrop of Djerba, Tunisia. Intimate in scale yet rich in atmosphere, the festival blended electronic music with thoughtfully curated settings that felt both relaxed and immersive.
The crowd was remarkably international: alongside the expected Tunisian audience and many European visitors — unsurprising, given that part of the organizing team is based in Germany — we met guests from across Africa and North America. The result was a genuinely global and inspiring atmosphere, where music, fashion, and culture naturally intersected.
Hosted at Yadis Hotel complex on the island, the festival also featured a fashion market showcasing independent local and international designers. For us, it became the perfect starting point for an editorial project. We began searching the festival crowd for personalities that embodied the spirit of the event and soon crossed paths with Surojit, who turned out to be RA GE, one of the festival’s DJs.
The editorial was shot partly on the festival grounds and partly at the charming private guesthouse Dar Bibine, where intimate architecture and carefully curated interiors filled with design objects offered a serene counterpoint to the vibrant energy of Re:Set.
